Columbus will get less than the fans want for Jiricek, due partly to the fact he made his unhappiness public and partly to the fact that he's unproven at the NHL level. Columbus gets a top-4 RHD who can help now, an RHD prospect with a high ceiling, an older prospect who probably could step into the 3rd pairing / 7D role now, and a 1st.
My bet is that Savoie will be on the roster by mid-season, playing on a line with Kane and Holloway. If Kane is healthy, that line would be lethal.
I think it's entirely possible the team goes out and adds a bona fide top-4 RHD before the deadline (with Kulak going the other way), leaving Broberg-Jiricek as the 3rd pairing for the playoff run.
