Robidas? Canes 2021 masterclass
Called up to presumably play against the wings today. Another small guy (5'8") that the canes picked up late in the draft (rd 5, 147 ovr in 2021). If the canes can make something valuable out of him, 2021 might go down as one of the most impressive drafts in canes history. Would be the 4th pick (Blake, Morrow, Koivunen(for PIT), *Robidas) to make their NHL debut from that canes draft year. All picks were made outside of the first round. Incredible value that all stems from the Canes trading down from 27ovr and 59ovr to accumulate 5 total picks. Hamrla being the only miss it seems. Description of trades and picks from 2021 below:
